Five Ways to Make a Payment and Avoid Using Checks

There has been a spike in checks getting stolen from the mail, altered, and used in financial fraud.

Prevent your financial information from getting into the wrong hands. Many of the alternative forms of payment below can be accessed in your Digital Banking: 

  1. Zelle® send money in minutes1 to friends, family and others you trust, right from Digital Banking.
  2. External Transfer — (eTransfer) transfer money anywhere in the U.S. between your own accounts or other financial institutions.2
  3. Wire transfers — (eWires) send funds both domestically and internationally with no upper limit threshold.
  4. BillPayer — pay individuals or companies with a one time or re-occurring payments from your checking account.3
  5. Credit Cards — use for a one time, re-occurring and automatic payments.

1Transactions typically occur in minutes when the recipient's email address or U.S mobile number is already enrolled with Zelle®. You must have a bank account in the U.S. to use Zelle®.
