Step 1: Become a member

Visit BFSFCU.org/join or stop in at any of our Branch Locations to open an account and become a member of BFSFCU.

Step 2: Switch over your automatic transactions

Our convenient Direct Deposit Form can be used to notify your payroll office as well as any company who makes direct deposits into your account, such as a retirement or pension office or the Social Security Administration.

We've also created an Automatic Withdrawal Form to help you notify those who automatically deduct from your account for mortgage payments, insurance payments, utility payments, etc.

Step 3: Close your old account(s)

When you are certain that the last transaction you performed on your old financial institution accounts has cleared, Close the Accounts and request your old financial institution to mail a check of the remaining balance to your new BFSFCU accounts.
