In a common scam, fraudsters pose as credit union or other financial institution employees in a call or text message and attempt to obtain your personal information such as your date of birth, social security number, account number, digital banking login information or other similar information such as authentication security codes. These phone calls and text messages are scams.

BFSFCU will never call, email or text you and ask for:

  • Digital Banking logins or passwords
  • Social Security Numbers
  • Security codes or PIN numbers
  • Credit or debit card numbers
  • Confirmation numbers sent via text

If you receive a phone call from someone saying they represent BFSFCU asking for detailed personal information, please hang up and report it to us immediately.
